The installation provided a more modern and convenient heating solution for a rural home, with the external air boiler unit positioned beside the bungalow and connected to the property’s heating system. The project highlights how air boiler technology can be used as a practical alternative to older electric and solid-fuel systems, with the original case study reporting annual running costs of approximately £600–£800 per year.
