Recreational Accommodation Centre – Heating Upgrade

A recreational accommodation provider was facing high running costs due to reliance on electric storage heaters across two accommodation blocks. To improve efficiency and reduce energy expenditure, the company turned to air source heat pump technology.

Global Energy Systems installed four 18kW Caernarfon air source heat pumps – two serving each block – to provide both heating via radiators and domestic hot water.

The new system has significantly reduced operating costs, delivering annual savings of £7,428 compared to the previous setup. This figure includes income from the non-domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), for which the installation is accredited, further enhancing the financial return.
